이인호는 응집물질계의 물리적 특성을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해서 이해하려고 한다. 일상 속에서 그는 컴퓨터 코드를 만들고 반도체, 인공반도체, 그리고 단백질 같은 물질에 적용한다. 추가로 그는 축구 하는 것 축구 그리고 보는 것을 좋아한다. 그의 연구 바탕은 전산 물리학이다. 근본적으로 그는 현상을 거의 모든 상황을 고려한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 이해하려고 한다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하면 많은 것들을 최적화할 수 있고 분명하게 이해할 수 있다고 그는 믿는다. 그것이 그가 시뮬레이션을 하는 이유이다. 그는 동시에 시간이 지나면서 컴퓨팅의 파워를 경험하고 있다. 그는 미래의 컴퓨팅에 대해서 생각한다. 현재 그는 매우 많은 프로세서들을 활용하여 제일원리 시뮬레이션 방식으로 새로운 물질 설계를 계획하고 있다. 그의 연구주제는 물질 그리고 미시적 공정이다.
 

In-Ho Lee tries to understand physical properties of condensed matter systems through computer simulations. In his usual days, he designs computer codes and applies to real materials, including semiconductors, artificial nano-structures, and proteins. In addition, he is interested in both playing soccer and watching soccer game. His research background is computational physics. Basically, he wants to understand the phenomena through the computer simulations, taking into account almost all circumstances. Via computer simulations, he believes, many things can be optimized and understood clearly. That’s why he is doing simulation. He also experiences the growing computing power as time goes. He has a think about future of the computer simulations. Now he plans to design various new functional materials based on first principles simulation protocols with many processors. His research topics include both materials and microscopic processes.
